I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I still think it's pretty cool. I sure wish I had the money and skills to do something like this with my stuff..........

Credit to Paul Filmer - who, in a most curious coincidence, goes by skippyscage here on WIX as well. :-)

On a visit to COS last summer I ate at that resturaunt. Neat place and the foor was pretty good. The waitress asked me if I want to eat inside the KC-97. My response was "you gotta be kidding. It smells funny, is cramped and I have eaten inside enough airplanes during my life!" She thought that was funny and told me it was easier to serve customers in the regular resturaunt.

I love it. There was a DC-6 cut up recently at Falcon Field and I tried to get the cockpit for part of the O-club. Of course each of the throttles was a beer tap. But you're right, my talents are a little thin for that too.

Okay I can understand the money thing but something tells me that when it comes to skills you have more than enough to get any job done!

Nice, and they achieve to keep the plane complete and in good condition.
It's sometimes sad to see somes restaurant plane, completly cut-up or in poor condition

OK, if you go to their menu link, what is the USN Floatplane at the bottom of the 1st page of the menu? It looks like a twin pontoon Helldiver?

You're not seeing things, EDO put floats on a Helldiver.
