Today the Maintenance Crew ran all four engines again and....

Drum Roll Please...

The engines all passed their follow-up compression tests!
Marvel Mystery Oil did it again!
 :partyman: :prayer:

The crew soaked various cylinders that were showing up a little low and with tincture of time and a bath in MMO the carbon loosened up and blew out the exhausts and voila... we are in good shape.
Ron Dietes, Ken and Ole, and Randy Wahlberg got the engine controls adjusted within flight parameters.

The top turret is almost ready to install. The LAST panel up and split while the last three screws were being tightened down and the plexi company is re-molding the panel.

I am having some degree of trouble convincing some people that they need to bring EVERYTHING back to the plane because the FAA really wants our weight and balance figured on the airplane with ALL the chandelliers hung and all the 50 cals. in place.

Life is getting interesting!

Do you have any current photos of her?

I do BUT... Photobucket is not letting me post links for some odd reason.

There MAY be a photo that a lot of people are going to like really soon.

Lot's of variables...
Woody- Dir of Maintenance from HQ- is going over the airplane and the paperwork right NOW. 1627 CST Oct. 13, 2009.
The weather is Crepe-suzettey at the moment in Houston.

Everything being said.

I believe in the power of Prayer.

Gulf Coast Wing and everyone who worked so hard on TEXAS RAIDERS will gratefully accept everyone's intercession on our behalf.
