The crew from Starman Brother's showed up and started laying out our stuff for the auction next week. We keep finding more stuff I didn't know we had. There is a lot of great stuff here for the T-6 operator that will be sold at MUCH lower prices than the primary supplier.

Today they found a P-39/P-63 landing gear and P-47 wheel and brake, some SB2C, T-28, and B-25 parts. Here are a bunch of photos I shot of them starting to setup.

I can't say enough about the guys from Starman. The photos just show what they have laid out in 1.5 days and they have a week to go. If you are ever in the unfortunately situation of having to liquidate your aviation holdings, I can't recommend Starman enough.

If there is interest I will continue to post pictures as they prep for the auction.

One final thing, a Martin 250CE turret that is totally complete. I have a new blown dome for it. I purchased this up in Canada and it came out of a Lancaster X. I don't have this listed in the auction, but it is for sale to any interested parties.

Tim,

As heartbreaking as it is to see you having to sell all of that stuff, I think it would be a great idea to keep posting photos. You've really got some incredible items there, so hopefully the auction will work out well for you.

Will there be a summary of who bought what?

Again, I am sad to see this great enterprise end. Tim, my best to you as I can imagine what this meant. What are your plans now and how is your family? 8)

Tim,

What is the size of the P-47 wheel and tire? It looks like a 33SC.

I'd be willing to bet that the boys from Lance will be there with full pockets

P-38/P-63 Nose Gear?
Image [quote]

If thats a brake/brake line on the axle, then this won't be a nose gear.

Didn't think about that. I just looked at some photos and it does appear to be a main. Thanks!

Taigh- I will check the size when I go out this afternoon to see how they are doing. Someone had written P-47 on it, so I just assumed that is what it is.

Jack- Not sure what I am keeping in the long run.
