There was a B-52 in the pattern at Carswell a couple of hours ago. It was nice to see one working at such a historic former SAC base......

walking home for lunch today in downtown Manhattan.., i heard a distinctive drone.., then another one and another one and another one.., there were no less than six warbirds (T-6-ish) could not see precisely what they were from the distance, that were scooting up the Hudson by Battery Park.

Very cool sight.., they were all line up like little ducks!

Anyone know what is going on this weekend up here?

They were all easily under 1000' AGL while cruising up the Hudson.., so between all the buildings I could only catch a glimpse here and there.., but I heard em!

C-130, KC-135 in pattern for MacDill, nothing unusual except their flight path was a bit closer than usual, think they were dodging a T-Storm....guess they wanted an uneventful flight! Fairly steep bank on the 135 rolling in on final, don't usually see their topsides like I saw on this one!

Skyraider, Mustang, Stearman and a couple of T-6's; all headed for the warbird doings at Paine Field :D And several Navions headed likewise...

The was a L-5 flying around Bonney Lake , Washington, near Seattle around 11:30 AM this morning while I was loading the car for the trip home. Because of the time and the position of the sun, (Hun in the Sun), the first sighting was a little trickey but he came around from the other direction and there was no problem seeing it. Might be part of the collection at the Olympia airport as it is not all that far away. Maybe someone else is familiar with this craft. It was painted as a military liason aircraft.
