Desert Storm air to air

Does anyone know what has become of the F-15 that destroyed a flying Iraqi helicopter by dropping a laser guided bomb on it?

I'd also like to know how the pilot was viewed and treated by the Air Force after doing that.

The kill was finally credited in 2001. The pilot and WSO are both retired, and the jet is still flying actively with the same squadron.

Reminds me of the Israeli Phantom pilot in October of 73 who downed his fifth Mil 8 by overflying it in burner and swatting it down with his jet wash.
