Temco Buckaroo is it not? Which may or may not be the same thing as a tandem Swift.

Yeah, the Buckaroo. :D I just couldn't think of the name earlier. Thanks!

I wonder what happened with that particular airplane?

Wasn't that traded to the Air Force as part of the original P-82 deal?

Wait...nevermind.

Very nice stuff Bill,

I saw a Buckeroo on a car mag cover just last weekend...took me forever to figure out what it was. There are a couple of those still around.

In pic #20, if I counted correctly, it's the pic with the Skymaster & a DC-3 in the background. Anyone know if that's the one Merle Gustafson & friends owned back around that time? ISTR that emblem on his & I think their little group was called "DC-3 Kings". Somewhere I've got a polaroid of it, but that sure looks familiar. Neat pics all the way around. Thanks for posting them.

Temco T-35 Buckaroo very rare... only a few left of the small production run.

Last I herd there were only 5 or maybe 6 left. 3 flying , 1 under restoration and another in suadi Arabia. There may be another one flying but I can't remember for sure.

Saw that and it causes me great confusion... I know, I know... What's new? :D

The "painted as B17F with the G on the tail" is from when it was used for the fly-over of Curtis LeMay's retirement?
Now I have to go re-read FINAL CUT because I got the impression that that event occured BEFORE the CAF owned her.
The WIX post from early summer of the mostly white paint job was CAF? Or was that from Aero Services (Litton Industries) days?

However it all turns out THANKS for posting some great photos.
