I dug my 1/72 Williams Bros. B-10 out of the drawer, stashed away after a tragic blue/yellow paint bleedover accident last year. It's a B-10B, in the instructions it shows the full scale wingspan to be 70' 6". 1/72 scale works out to be 11 3/4", I measured the built model and it was 11 11/16", so it's really close to being right. (my Williams Bros. C-46 has always seemed bigger than it should be, so now I'm thinking I should measure it!)

You can still find these on ebay once in a while. It's been a little over a month now, but another WIXer had one of these kits he was selling.

Since this thread has veered off into modeling..

Williams Brothers was one of the first of what are now known as "limited run" kit makers. Companies that specialize in more obscure subjects, producing kits aimed at more experienced modelers. The B-10 (I've never measured it..the box says 1/72 and it looks reasonably close to me) is one of Williams' better kits. It's a bit tricky to build, but builds up into a very nice looking model. I started one years ago but never finished it. To me, the biggest problem is the clear parts, which are a little rough.

I always love seeing the B-10 in the NMUSAF. It's just a really cool looking airplane.

I have to look throught the bulk of material I have and to extract material for B-10. I know that I have copy of blurprints and that I have start wortk on scale drawings some years ago.
