I've been thinking of getting one of those. I just spent $450 on an 80 hour TIVO with a DVD-R/RW burner which is currently recording every War and John Wayne movie scheduled for the next two weeks :)

I've been thinking of getting a Tivo too. Its hard to resist. If I can, I'm going to hold out for the PS3, and plug a couple of 350 gig drives into it and move all of my dvd's and games onto it. They're saying it will do Tivo kinda stuff too. Thats awhile off though.

Play Station PSP. The ultimate useless toy.

I'm looking forward to the PS3 as well. Looks impressive. As for turning it into a PVR I tend to dislike the jack-of -all-trades type machines. Primarily since they can only really do one thing at a time.

The only reason why I'm interested in a Playstation is to play Ace Combat 5, so I don't see myself spending 250$ for just one game.

Still, the PSP is a wicked thing.
