Simulator equipment for the taking

A friend with the War Eagle Air Museum has asked me to post a message that the museum has some redundant simulator equipment to be disposed of before a new exihibit can move in. The first is part of an A-4 training sim and the second is a the electronics for a Curtiss Wright navigation trainer. In both cases they are just the electronic components and not the actual sims.

There not getting rid of the cockpit section of the A4 are they? My dad sold that to John back in the 80's after John seen it at our shop in Michigan when my dad was building scoop and doghouses for his mustangs. The large unit in your first picture came with the cockpit when we obtained it in a trade with another museum.

No,the cockpit sections stay here.We just need to make room for other displays and dont want to store the consoles outside.By the way,,Cliff has photos of us running up the P51D that is unpanted on thursday, fine music..
