After over three years of it sitting in one spot, I just moved the PBY from it's parking place in my dried up ol' pond, over to a section of property over by my shop. It's starting to look as if it'll actually be relocated to someone else very soon, so I thought with it closer to my shop, it'll be easier to service the air in the tires (they've actually stayed somewhat inflated all this time). It'll also be closer to tools, should we need them, as we load it up.

So, I know this isn't really "breaking news," but I figured there might be at least some folks interested in it. I'll be sure to post more whenever we load it up at some point down the road.

Towing it around.......

I saw Gary driving the lawn mower.
Everything was green and growing.
Roadrunners were carrying mice around, the birds were singing, I was sweating loading parts in boxes and the 3 dogs were happy.
OW, and the airlines delayed everything so I got to spend an extra day. Yippee.
Soon I'll have British gadgets and gizmos to sort through.
We'll also need to figure out how to turn the Shackleton QEC into a magazine rack.

N3Njeff...I'm not sure what's next on the agenda here. I would love to have the Voodoo out here, but we're still waiting to hear from the Evil Empire before I can do much with it. Although, it is starting to look nice around here without all of these clunky ol' airplane parts sitting around everywhere. Maybe I should just get a bunch of old cars on blocks to replace it all.

Chris Brame...the stinging insects were certainly active today. And amazingly, this little fat boy can still run pretty fast, and with a zig-zagging motion...especially when pissed off little insects are after me! As far as the boat idea, it's been done by a fella in Australia, but this one will be going to a museum, which is a better fate for it, in my opinion.

Rich...You forgot to pack up some mesquite tree thorns and yellow jackets, so I have loaded up a few of each for you. But it's a surprise, so you'll just have to find them all on your own. :-)

Actually not a problem, just pull into the turning lane, engage emergency flashers and walk into one of the stalls and place your order.

I'm not sure if I should feel honored or insulted when a reference from The Defender is used when describing me bringing stuff to Austin Acres.
