If any is curious regarding the location, it is nearby the B-17 Desert Rat restoration location...

Is this the F9F that was once stored outside at the Flying Tigers Warbird Restoraiton Museum in Kissimmee, FL?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Yes, it is.
It's an F9F-8P, looking for a home,
or someone to donate $$$ to get it
to static condition.

It reminds me of one that used to sit next to a hangar at Breckenridge, TX back around 1982-1983.

Thanks for the confirmation. I have added a picture of it at Kissimmee to the airframe dossier...

Didn't the one at Breckenridge have a lot of holes in it though? I seem to recall it came off a firing range.

You can't see it from the road, unless you're coming from town.

I'm going to blame corn fields really (that or my memory.) I usually try to come the "back" way home just to drive by there once in a while from my sisters house to see if anyone is out there, and of course I've never timed it right yet.
