EAA Warbirds of America Squadron 27 and American Wings Air Museum are holding a warbird roundup on May 21 and 22 at American Wings. This event will be taking the place of this years canceled Discover Aviation Days. More info can be found at the Discover Aviation Days site.

I plan on attending on the better weather day, with a preference for Saturday.

Bump.

Just a little over a week left before the first event of the season here in Minnesota.

Hey Dan,

My brother Dave and I will be attending on Saturday. Any chance of hooking up with you or any of the other Wixers that will be there? We should arrive around 9:00 A.M. I'm guessing.

See ya then!

Steve

P.S. Weather man says 80's and sunshine for Saturday...... :D

Steve,

I'm hoping to get to the airport fairly early to get some clear shots of the aircraft, though with how well this has been advertised that probably won't be an issue.

I should be easy to spot, I'll be wearing my WIX shirt. Lets use Walt Frickie's T-28C as a meeting point.

O.K. Dan,

Do you want to set a time? I plan on being there around 9:00, but it might take some time to get parked and to locate the '-28, so you wanna say 10:00ish?

If we don't get to meet up there, I'm sure we'll run into each other. I will be wearing a Stearman T-shirt, and I'll be looking out for you.

See ya then.....

Steve

10:00ish at the T-28 it is. I'll probably be spending a fair amount of time around it anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing it up close so far I've only seen it in the air. I'm looking forward to meeting up, I understand I just missed you and Dave at WOTN last year. I'll likely spend the majority of my time around the Mohawks, Nanchangs, and any North Americans(hopefully a pointy-nosed one or two in addition to the round ones) that show up.
