I am working on a set of 1/4 scale plans for the SAIA Marchetti SF.260 and desperately need some detailed pics of certain items. I have searched the internet far and wide and really good detail pics of the airplane seem to be few and far between. Thus far I have been unable to locate any good books on the subject either. If anyone out there has ready access to one and would be willing to take pictures I would love to hear from you. If anyone knows of any good books on the airplane that information would be most welcome as well. I'm looking for stuff with large, high resolution detail pictures and/or drawings. Last, but not least, if anyone is aware of a 260 anywhere near the Phoenix, AZ area that I could possibly photograph myself that would also be terrific. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

There is one at Deervalley, Last time I saw it, it was in the East covered parking near the police hangar.

I think I have a POH around here if that would help

Man that is great news Matt. I will be out at DV tomorrow afternoon anyway so I will have a look around. I looked at the FAA database and didn't see any listed to AZ based owners but maybe my search criteria was off. Not sure if the hand book would be of any use or not. Does it have any good pics or drawings? Thanks for the heads up Matt, can't wait to have a look around the airport!

Second best after the photos, there is an Italian magazine, 'Aerofan' which has in the past, published at least one issue dedicated to the SIAI Marchetti SF-260.

Saludos,

Tulio

Tulio and Fouga23, thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

I was not able to locate the SF at Deer Valley today but I also do not have access to the airport proper. Seems all the gates were locked today!
