The Redtail flew twice yesterday! A testiment to the fine work by the crew at TSA and OWI, there was only 1 minor squawk. Well done everyone :!: I didn't get back to the Twin Cities until about 1:00 this morning so you'll have to wait until I'm home from work for pictures and maybe even some video...

A good time to pause and again remember Don Hinz and his family. I can only imagine he'd be pleased.

Best news I've heard all week! You guys are amazing, most shops would've taken a couple more years.

I am sure that is where he wants to see the airplane. Him if for no other reason is why this aircraft should be flown.

Absolutely fantastic news, can't wait for some pictures. Their has been something of an "explosion" of high back Mustang restorations over the last few years which is very, very exciting. And of course the history of this airframe makes it particularly special. My only question, when are we going to see some air to air of 3 or 4 high back Mustangs together?!

Congratulations CAF and best of luck with her in the future.

I have followed this restoration over on the Maintanance Thread for the last couple of years and those guys have just done a magnificent job on this one. She sure is a beauty and of course any B or C in the air is a real treet. A great Memorial to the Tussgeegee Airmen.
