2010 WIX Chino Incursion

I'm judging interest in a WIX gathering at the Chino airshow in 2010. We might see about reserving a block of hotel rooms and try and get a group discount. Myself and Ryan are planning on going. Who else, especially non-locals, are planning on attending this event?

I would have been there this year but I was in school for the Challenger and do look forward to next year....

After seeing the pics year after year i'm thinking this could be fun. It would greatly depend on my financial situation so i'll keep watching to see where this may go.

Just to clarify, I have no current plans to go to Chino, though it would assuredly be lots of fun...

The Chino POF Museum Air Show looks like a great event to attend. I may be able to go if it's scheduled for the weekend of May 15-16, 2010.
Does anyone know yet if those will definitely be the dates or not?

I'm thinking about it! I'd love to go. I think all be able to scrape the money together to make it happen.

I guess if I just say YES, I'll have no excuses to back out.

I too would love to attend...Chino has always been a dream for me...But until the boy gets out of college the cash is gonna be tight.

Alright,
I am in the preliminary stages of my trip to the west coast.
I will be 40 in a few weeks and I have never been west of Liberal, KS.
I am looking at going out probably monday or tuesday, and seeing as much as we can, then staying near Ontario airport for the show.
I can stay at the Ontario Airport Hilton on points, any reason why I shouldnt?
Any better suggestions for a WIX base camp?

The Ontario Hilton is where all the airshow pilots stay for the show, and I've never heard a complaint, so it should be OK.
