The Turkey over there is a much more reasonable price, but fewer Wixers per trip would fit!

I've seen lifelong friends turn into enemies after having airplane partnerships, so what makes us think that WIXers (who can't even get along on a public forum) can have a successful partnership...especially a Warbird, that takes cubic dollars to keep flying?

I've been in a TBM with 11 people before, it was pretty crowded. I've also had 13 or 14 in AD-5 but we just taxied to the other side of the airport.

It looks like there is a warbird sell off happening at Falcon Field. The TBM and the TF-51 for sale are both based there.

Is it me, or does $750k seem REALLY high for the market as it stands...?

The TBM has been up for sale for a while now... mechanically, it's a great plane now... but needs some cosmetic TLC to make it look the part.

Roger that, the first thing you do when you get into a partnership is to think of a way to get out of it.....

Agree with you Gary, I was just kidding. I don't think it would ever work on a $7,500 plane yet a $750,000 warbird. :D

How about the WIX wing of the CAF? What aircraft do they have available for reassignment? WIX could start a chapter and maybe get the Ju-52 (or something slightly smaller) A flyable aircraft would be a good start.

I am sure there are more than a few on here that would have nothing to do with the CAF..............
