Saw a UH-60 Black Hawk, traveling backwards on Interstate 84 in Danbury!
It was tailess, on a flat bed, and headed for the plant in Stratford!

The number 1 is a J79-15E semi smokeless. The number 2 is our replacement engine, it is a J79-15A, the original version for the F4.

They looked and sounded great ! What you don't see in Robert's picture is the T-33 just off of the Skyhawk's wing and the helo that had a camera man shooting the pass from the other side.

IT WAS A GREAT DAY ! :drink3:

We've never had all 4 Houston aircraft up at once.

The F-4 is now at Thunder.

There was a Wildcat flying around Kalamazoo late this morning. Went by the airport but it never landed. Probably Mike Gillian's since that's the only Wildcat that's ever in the area. Maybe headed toward either Thunder or the Jackson show this weekend.

Got a semi private formation show from the FHC's P-47 and the Mk 9 Spit this afternoon. Don't know whats up unless they were breaking in a new pilot for tomorrows Fly Day, but I know one of 'em had to be Bud Granley by the extra tight and unwavering wing in wing formation work, nice warm, sunny day and the Jug flashed in the sun every time they banked!

The B-2 Stealth Bomber just flew over the house .... It did a fly over at the Dayton Air Show .... Scheduled tomorrow as well ... think I'll get the camera and long photo lens available ....

Why on earth should BA need remedial formation training? He seems to do just fine flying around F-15's and F-16's in VALHALLA. :supz:

I would imagine that after steering that AD-4 around for years, the Jug would seem like a small pickup truck, and the Spit would be like a Kawasaki NINJA- :wink:
