Thank you for all the words of encouragement (many of the people helping lurk here too) :!:
A bit more of an update from the weekend I was only up on Saturday. I did not take a ton of pictures because we were pretty dang busy all day. Eric was building a wooden crate to contain the stretching form for chin cowls. Among the things I don’t have shots of are; installing/rigging the ailerons, wiring tests, the gear swing and they put gas in her Sunday and started checking the fuel system.
Here is what I do have pictures of:

Mark doing some final fitting to the airleron.

Tony spent a big part of the day wiring with his head up in the wheel wells:

Steve and I removed the dog-house and installed the backrest for the aft-cockpit ballast:

John had the patience testing task of whittling the phenolic (sp?) aileron cable guides for the trailing edge.

The professionals at Tri-State have the pointy end just about ready for installation so it looks like we’ll be converting 100LL into Merlin Music soon. They might run the engine this weekend. I’ll be working at AirExpo all weekend, so I won’t be there in person but will hopefully be able to update ya’ll again Monday.

Our own DougR took the first two test flights last night! I'll post some photos and maybe even some video tonight.

Hello Chuck,
Thanks for your interest in the project. If you use the search feature it will turn up a few threads with pictures and video from the first flight and some of the others since then. They are all in "The WIX Hanger"
Thanks again and let me know if you have trouble finding them...
