We have overall medium gray lawn darts carrying antennas and external pods around here all the time, the NAVY uses them out of NAS Whidbey to train navigators in EA 6's and now EFA-18 Growlers since the Gulfstream 1's were retired, its a contractor company.

We also, upon occasion see U.S. ARMY marked DHC-7's in and out of KPAE doing whatever or transiting to/from Alaska (checking Sarahs sight lines to Russia?), I don't let it bother me because I'm not doing anything suspicious and there's damn3d little I could do about it anyway.

No, just observant, and these obviously weren't Navy planes doing that sort of work. Ii doesn't bother me at all, in fact I think it's interesting. Those are pretty presumptuous assumptions, along with implications that people shouldn't pay attention.

Then it was not the media spying on us? Why did then, the media "admitted" to a spying program in the first place?

After reading the text on the link you provided, it turns out that the reference was made to a warrantless communications surveillance program, that does not require an airplane to achieve.

There's another assumption or misreading, it was a spying program mentioned in the media.



How do you know? A covert drug communication aircraft is indeed warrantless, and is also surveillance, and how do you know the CIA doesn't make use of the same aircraft as well? They clearly do have a surveilance purpose.

Unless you actually work for the CIA, I'm not sure you can qualify your statement. Or unless you work for CNN how can you make so many assumptions?

I was answering based on your original post.

You stated that the media had admitted to a spying program.

By law, the CIA cannot conduct espionage on American soil.

If anyone would do this, by law, would be the Fibbers or other agencies.

So, how do I know, you ask?

Education- Knowledge- Experience- Educated guesses- Research- and most important, by not being paranoid over every little bit of news that comes my way.

The possibilities thus, are endless. And they are not limited to just being with the CIA or with CNN.

I will agree that you are right in that assumption, based on what has happened in the past.

Not everyone is interested in observing any phenomena. Most people are happy to live their lives without worrying about such things.

From an airplane flying in circles, jumping to the conclussion that the CIA is spying, is IMHO a big logical leap.

So let's agree to disagree, and let's talk about warbirds, after all it is the reason for the existence of this website.
