Just a reminder to warbird lovers in the inland Nortwest that the Paul family's Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa Idaho is holding "A Salute to North American Aviation" this weekend.

They will have on display several Mustangs including -A, -B, -D, and TF models as well as their F-86, T-6s, T-28s, and maybe a B-25. Of course the family P-40 collection will be there as well. The featured speaker is triple Ace Bud Anderson.

Should be a great event, as always with this fine organisation!

Oh, that is quite tempting but also quite a drive. I've got the Arlington show this weekend already on the calendar anyway.

If it were Tampa (FL), I'd be up for the drive, Nampa (Idaho)? Not going to make it! Never even heard of Nampa!!! Looks like a very nice collection in attendance though.

Nampa is about 15 minutes west of Boise. Their events are always a real pleasure. I'm especially looking forward to hearing Bud Anderson speak, as I've never met him.

This is from a couple of years ago...

The Warhawk collection is great!
Wish I could go to this one. Will perhaps be there later in the summer.

They really need a P-40C to add to the Warhawk family.

Besides the informal show, the museum holds a really nice collection of artifacts and items related to WW-II that you usually do not get to see in many other museums.

I have been lucky to have been able to attend two of the Tribute Days, and all I can say is, if you can go, you won't be disappointed.

Saludos,

Tulio
