Are you doing anything July 4th? With the cancellation of a few local airshows, maybe your schedule as opened up?

http://www.kokomowingsandwheels.com/Kok ... lcome.html

Kokomo will be having its first airshow. I'll promise this will be a fun day, as they're good people up there, and it will definitely be a good down-home low-key day. You will have plenty of opportunities to get up close to the airplanes and talk with the pilots. There will be a Mustang, Corsair, T-6's, and undoubtedly a few other warbirds. I will be flying the T-6G in early in the morning. Please stop by the airplane and say hey! If we get a decent amount of members from this website, let's pull together a group picture! This will more than likely be a show with flying going on before and after the actual airshow!

Here are some pics from Kokomo to get you guys psyched!

I hope to see you there!

Sweet! I was just looking for shows to go to the other day and didn't come up with anything that was close enough for me to be able to go to. I was afraid Indy might have been my only show for the year. I'll be there for sure. Are you only flying the T-6 in the morning?

Greg

The show still went on despite the sorry weather. It was a great show, nice and low key and personal. Great flying too! Dave "R+10" Rothenager flew his T-34 Bonanz.... errr.... Mentor, Nathan Davis flew his P-51 while Laura Stants flew Nathan's T-6, and Dan Schiffer flew the -5 Corsair. There were also a few acro acts, along with a Model T racing a Piper Cub.

Enough blab, more pics...

Here's the T-6 after I got her to Kokomo on Friday night...

Is the Checker Nose T-6 the one Courtesy has listed? I presume?
