Hi Guys!
The Text should say "Salzburg, Austria". Looks like one of the photos from the end of the war.

don't laugh; travelling through Greenwood, Miss. on biz. The Lil Abner type girl [9.9/10] at the cafe asks where I'm from? A. Australia. Oh she says that's where they made the movie "The Sound of Music"!

We know. ;) It was just a riff on the perennial confusion:

Stupid tourist questions in Australia

Q: Can you send me the Vienna Boys' Choir schedule? (USA)

A: Aus-tri-a is that quaint little country bordering Ger-man-y, which is ... oh forget it. Sure, the Vienna Boys Choir plays every Tuesday night in Kings Cross, straight after the hippo races. Come naked.

Many years ago in Air Classics mag there was a picture of a Fw.200 fuselage in France. Always wondered what happened to it, as it is not listed on any surviving aircraft listings that I know of.

I wondered what became of that too. As I recall the fuselage was completely intact including cockpit glass. It was being used as a storage shed.

Was that Condor a military bird or civilian. Kinda looks like they are giving it a civilian resto.
