Yes, the pictured CG-10A is the first XCG-10A. However, it was not WACO...... Jack Laister would be insulted that you referred to it as a WACO. Naughty-naughty!

Yes, there are other photos of BOTH XCG-17 gliders.

I think the DHA-G2 might rival the Slingsby Hengist for the title of "most unknown allied glider", and its interesting to note the apparant family resemblence of both to a DH Dragon / Rapide cockpit/nose?

Oh! Is that what a Rapide looks like after the engines fall off! Very well could have shared engineers and perhaps even parts!! Nice pics, I don't recall seeing that one before.
