There used to be one at Air Heritage at Beaver County Airport along with a Lysander. I would love to know where they are now, and what condition they are in.

I crawled all over that Lysander in TN several years back, and it was nothing but a bare fuselage, sitting outside. It's in quite sad condition. I got the impression from the owner that it would never get the attention that it needs. He also had an old British bomber (sorry, I forgot what type...but it ain't pretty). He was spending more time with the bomber, but it, too, had a lonnnnnng way to go. :?

Graham Kilsby.

Bristol Heritage Foundation.

The old bomber you are talking about is a quite rare Bristol Beaufort. Gutted & empty shell yes...but still a rare beast none the least.

Yup to all. Mr. Kilsby was a nice enough fella, and perhaps I'm wrong here, but I just didn't get the feeling he was going to get much done with either airplane. :? I talked to him about helping do some work on either plane and he just blew me off like he wasn't interesed in any help from me or anyone. Oh well.
