Any of youse troops who are regulars at Geneseo want to give me some idea of usual wx conditions? You know...approx. temps., whether it's humid, not bad, etc.
I need to know if we're gonna' wear the Class A's or not.

Mudge the planner

Friday: Sunny with a chance of Chicken, hopefully spotting the arrival of a Ryan K.
Friday Night: Mostly Cloudy with a chance of Donuts on the runway. Fireworks too.
Saturday: Sunny, with Mimosa's in the morning and a chance of Steak in the evening
Sunday: Partly cloudy with Salt Potato's and Beef on Weck

All kidding aside,
It is July, in a field, so it is not awfully hot. There is no Concrete to get to 110 Deg. F
There will be a chance of afternoon showers, and sometimes foggy or overcast in the AM.
Plan on Staying for the evening, get Fri/Sat Dinner tickets early. (I got mine last week)

Pray to the weather gods now!

See you there!

What about the large amounts of Alcohol that is consumed Friday and Saturday nights, does that not even make honorable mention in the forecast?

I think because there is not pavement on the field that temps tend to stay a touch nicer, but it can still be very hot. That is why WIX tries to lay claim to a aircraft in the morning. If that aircraft can't fly it is all the better.

Tim

Still dunno' if I want to do the Class A uniform or not. Sounds like it might be pretty humid since it's in a field. I guess we'll bring 'em and decide Saturday morning. Already got the steak tickets. The chicken at these things is usually pretty bad. Didn't go for it at MAAM because of the experiences of the last 3 years. UGH!

Mudge the gourmand

Hey Mudge...Maybe it's time to think about getting in touch with your RAF side....

Go RAF Khaki Drill...think North Africa...

Or...think Cactus Air Force!

Oh it definitey does Tim, you have made some lasting impressions with that stuff.
But we were trying to find a way to say it without looking like I was offering up your beer. So I left it as that.

Only a month to go,
Looking forward to seeing EVERYBODY! RYAN! You there?
