Restoration Shop List

In my searching the WWW I have not found a listing of restoration shops in the U.S. Does anyone know of such a list? I am working on a list for my web site and right now it is pretty short. Here is what I am after...

Restoration Shops:
Name
Location
web site address

If you can recommend one for the list please post them for me to include. I will have them listed on a resources page of my web site so that aircraft owners will know where to go to look up some shops that might be near them or that specialize in their aircraft.

Dan,

in years past, one of them there British Aviation Magazines, published a compilation of British and American restoration shops. I am going to say that it was Air Classics, but I cannot say that with 100% certainty.

There was also a good list published by the late Paul Coggan in his book 'Warbirds Alive'.
Could be interesting to start from this list and update the infos.

Thanks guys. I was using the one on Warbird Alley and some off of Google as my jumping off point. Hope that more smaller local shops will come to light as more time passes with this note posted.

Big Sky Stearmans, Centennial, Cub Crafters, Jim Kimball Enterprises, Aero Crafters, Wing Works, are just a few on my list.

There is one out of the Atlanta area that I just cant remember the name of. Might be Ron Alexanders shop.

Maybe the best list you'll find, but still listing Square One Aviation? That's been gone a few years now! It looks like they've only listed shops with a www presence as well. Life does go on outside the internet yet!

Paul Coggan published a Warbirds Worldwide supplement called 'Red Pages' for a few years - two or three issues. (Air Classics was, and is, IIRC, a US publication.)

The copies of the Red Pages I've got would be very out of date now - essentially pre- web, and most companies have changed since. Not sure if the items in Warbirds Alive Ben mentions would be up to date enough, but it's certainly more recent.

Most listings are advertising revenue generated...

Rare Aircraft - Owatonna, MN - Mostly Waco restorations

Waco Classic - Battle Creek, MI - has their own restoration shop for Wacos and other antiques

Yep... had Centenial already. Actually got to visit with the owner of Centenial in Dallas a few weeks back. Nice guy. Caught up on the Spartan he is working on for Mr. Savage.
