I know Ollie had another thread on the subject, but I wanted to start a new one to get an idea of who is attending. So who can make it to a WIX meet in Ottawa on the 14th?

Steve Tournay will be in town, and will be freeing up from his conference at 4 PM. Does anyone want to get together any sooner in the day? Or should we meet up at the front door at the museum at 4 PM?

Ollie will be attending the FW-149, so I assume that a walk around would be on the agenda? Ollie?

It has also been suggested that we go out to a suitable establishment for food and beverages.

I was also thinking we should conclude the meet with an evening slide show. Steve has some material. Does anyone have a selection of their best aviation photography on slides?

Regards,

Mike

Mike/Ollie--

Sooo...there should be three of us for a group pic with the FW on Sat May 14. Any others? I heard from Martin, Eric and Andrew, none of whom can make it this time.

BTW Ollie--I bet some of the other CAAA guys (especially the ones who are fond of painting Luftwaffe subjects) would enjoy getting a look at your FW, too. Particularly think of outgoing CAAA president Ardell Bourgeois, who will probably come to the conference from BC, and likes the Luftwaffe stuff...he's painted some gorgeous 109s and 190s.

8 days and a bit to go...

S.

Hi Tim,

If you and the better half are interested in making a trip this way there is a free room available at the Henniger Hilton.

Steve Tournay and I had a preliminary bull shooting session on Wednesday night. We agreed we would meet on the flying club side of the field. I'll be looking for you there.

Hello Mike,

I might not be there, weather looks bad for tomorrow, I'll decide and post on the board tomorrow morning...
