Aircraft Dump whats its?

Who can figure out what aircraft are in the aircraft dump photos?
Obviously the B-24, and is the one in the midground center a P-47? 8 Gun or cannon holes....not sure of the large tailed single in front...devestator?
What do some of you think?

Helldiver and a P-47?

I blew the photo up and I think the lower photo has a Douglas Devastator, behind it might be a P-47, and to the left is a Grumman Avenger. Background ones are not enough to tell. Anyone agree?

Seems odd to have Navy and Army Air Corps airplanes in the same dump, doesn't it?

my 2 cents on the bottom photo:
-main center = Helldiver (slotted wings, no corrugations, turtle deck for rear gunner)
-behind it = P-47
-behind to the left = Avenger X2
-far left (just the wing); B-26 or A-20?
-behind the Helldiver's left stabilizer it looks like a Dauntless in an Atlantic scheme, which it couldn't be, so I'd guess a P-47 fuselage.?
-another P-47 off the Helldiver's left wing stub
I like the stack of B-24 cowling faces int he top photo.
great shots! Someone should make a recreation of this as a full-size diorama and put an outdoor bar in the middle of it....

Looking at the background geography I would have to say that the photo is taken on Saipan with Mt. Tapochau looming up in the background. There is a good chance that it was Kagman Pt. airfield located on the east side of the island. I poked around the area some years ago when it was a vine covered runway and parking ramp. It is now a golf course..sigh.
I have to agree with the previous entries about the SBD, TBM , P-47 possibly SB2C. A B-26 wing (?)...it is possible as the navy did operate JM's in the area. The USAAF removed all B-26's & B-17's from the pacific in early '43. But a TBD ? I sort of doubt that as by 1944 they were long gone from front line service. My poking around Saipan revealed only one aircraft that escaped the scrappers...an SB2C. I've posted it here before and is attached. It was found on former NAB Marpi Pt. at the north end of Saipan. It too is gone now.
