After years of being a lazy bum, I finally joined a very worthy organization. Better late than never I guess. Now, who can I guilt into joining now that I've finally done it? Hmmm...I think I'll "out" Helldiver first.

Look, here's proof that I really did it!

Congrats Al, I had to pan the page all the way down to see that it was the CAF. My instant thought before seeing it was that you joined the National Stearman Assn.......................... :vom:

Col Stix,
Congratulations are in order!

(I was going to PM you but what the hey... Do you know anyone who has the plexi-glass for B17 top turret cuppolas? We have the molds but we don't have the glass, a lot of time or a big oven.)

Fouga23... Vous etes correct. Les Belges ont besoin d'un "Wing" dela CAF.
Or sumpin like that!

Thanks everyone. I've joined the local chapter at Smartt Field in St. Charles, Missouri. It's not more than a ten minute flight in the Stearman from Creve Coeur. I'm supplying some TBM turret parts to the guys so they can make the turret as authentic as possible. I'd love to see it operational some day but that's up to the people in charge.
