Got this one a while ago..................Maybe the army realised their mistake and should have not been so cheap and bought the GOOD one!!! :prayer:

They built them so well that here she is, the XN3N-1 Bureau 9991 in 1945 still serving her country!!

We are having Birthday Cake in Geneseo in July, the N3N turns 74 yrs old!!!

Here are a few photos of N3N-3s, taken some years ago in Wyoming. It is not unlike the majority of the N3N-3s that are here in the sunny valley of Arizona and in California. In some ways their existence is a testament to the materials used in the construction of the aircraft. Aluminum is more resilient and enduring when left outside than wood and steel tube construction used in the other biplane trainers. But all go the same way when neglected and left in the fields for faster newer replacements. Let's hope that both types of military trainers make their way back into the air when found and cared for by those that find them. :)
