Looking good Rich, what is the symbol on the T-6 cowl(too fuzzy can't see) plus what is the tank on the RH side behind the console? Smoke?

Reads Santa Monica over the emblem.
The tank is for smoke oil.
Rich

Rich, where did you get the smoke oil tank and system? and what type of approval did you get for the installation?

It was done under a field approval in the early nineties and fabricated by Jack Shaver.

Oh Oh. Jim what is your status then about flying over to KFRG with the Horsemen for the Jones Beach show? I had seen something from Sheltair that said you guys were due in today?

Do you have a time yet for a practice show on Friday?

Pete

We (Rich and his hammer) got the gearbox back in today. It went in easier than it came out. Pushing to get flying before Reading this coming weekend:

I gave "helpful" a new definition today when I stopped by the hangar to help Rich get the plane ready for Reading. I dropped a spark plug down into the area between the banks. I'm heading back to work now

 (I'm laughing WITH you, not AT you........really  )

I bet Rich found several other spark plugs, wrenches, sockets, etc. while looking in the pit between the banks for the plug you dropped. :-)
