Hi All,
73 days to go seemed like a good time to start buttering you all up for OSH '09. I'm ultimately hoping this thread will assist you in planning your week at the world's greatest aviation event.
In case you hadn't searched for it yet, here's some initial warbird line-up info from EAA, including the "Warbirds in Review" schedule (Be sure to keep scrolling!).

Of special note: Although there is traditionally no aerial display of warbirds on Thursday, I would think the 1:00 PM presentation by Guenther Rall (with the Russell Group's Me-109E and Cavanaugh's Buchon present) might be fairly well-attended. Also note the return of "Glacier Girl", "Old Crow", and the CAF's Red Tail Mustang.
For those who like the "extended" OSH experience, the NATA website indicates that the T-6/SNJ/Harvard FAST training will take place in Dubuque, IA, while the T-28 bunch will train in Sheboygan, WI. In honor of the T-28's 60th anniversary of flight, Wednesday's warbird show at Airventure will feature the Trojan exclusively.
100 years of Canadian aviation will also be highlighted, with a fair number of Canadian warbirds (including CWH Lancaster, Mitchell, Canso, etc.) scheduled to invade.
And saving the best for last, be assured that discussion has already been initiated concerning the 4th Annual WIX/Timeless Voices Gala (also referred to as WIXFEST IV)--the largest annual gathering of WIXers anywhere on the planet.
So, who's planning to join us in God's Country North this July?
Feel free to continue with any other Airventure '09 news and rumors you hear.
