Lone Star's Special Delivery/Doolittle Raider was out doing training at EFD all day.

Saw an F-18 today. Flying low and backwards ! It was very complete, sans radome and outer wings. It was loaded onto an 18 wheel lowboy headed westbound on I10 just west of Lafayette, LA.

Yeah, but I was in Houston Tuesday - not Monday...

Saw this guy on the way.

And to prove I was in the Houston / Galveston area:

Sorry about the picture quality. My old standby died recently and I'm stuck with a cheap point and shoot with almost no zoom for now. Not fun when you're trying to shoot from 1000'.

Air Heritage's C-123 made its 1st flight of the year day before yesterday. The #1 engine still has a constant heavy smoke trail in flight, but thats normal for a radial right?? The best place to be when that thing is flying is in a bunker! :D

B-25 Panchito took off from Falcon Field, GA (KFFC) today around 12:30. I'd flown over to pick up parts at Aircraft Spruce and taxiied out just ahead of the old girl. I climbed out to the east and they climbed out to the northeast so I had a nice view of the sun glinting off her in the distance as we diverged.
