L-29 only VFR?

Sun May 03, 2009 11:24 pm

hey guys,

Could someone enlighten me about the L-29 possibilities to fly IFR/IMC? Obviously the plane doesn't have the De-Ice but does it have the anti ice system?(Turbine compressors feeding the leading edge of the wings?)
Also, flying a single engine jet in IFR produces some worries doesn't it?
I have noticed that none of the planes I've checked out had an HSI. Can you install the HSI as a top on and how much would that cost appx?
Any L-29 drivers???

Thanks,

I know that Jon Boede's L-39 is IFR approved. He may know what modifications would be required for the L-29. He's here on WiX.
