Better late than never hopefully - I was only able to make SnF for Friday & Saturday this year. I need to put a disclaimer up front - I screwed up a camera setting and shot most of these on auto. It picks its own shutter speed and freezes the props. I will endeavor to do better next time.

First, the B-24/LB-30:

Then, a few others from the Sat WB show:

All for now - I'll post a few more next week.

There is a fantastic air to air shot of the three Wildcats on this thread at AAFO.

Oooooooh, nice pics there. When is the last time 3 Wildcats shared airspace?! Wish I could have pushed myself into getting over there for at least a day...perhaps next year! :(

If that's the best you can do...keep 'em coming. My brain must be on automatic 'cause those shots are fantastic! 8) How do you make them better? :?

Thanks for posting.

Navy Aggressor Squadron F-5Ns, similar to what was used in the movie Top Gun. They are used to provide combat training to F/A-18 drivers.

The squadron (VFC-111) was in Key West with VFA-2 (Super Bug), VMFA-311 (Harrier), and the 115th FW (F-16 WI ANG) for some exercises over the last few weeks. They must have sent that trio up for Sun'N'Fun instead of going straight home as the pics I saw of the exercise from one of the VFA-2 flightline guys shows all three of those aircraft on the line during the two weeks before.
