It was a gloomy, breezy day here in North Texas today, but that didn't stop Jim Terry and Steve Swift (WIXer "akflier") from taking Pacific Prowler out for a late afternoon spin around Fort Worth! I managed to climb down from on top of the B-17 and run out to the ramp in time to shoot a few frames of their departure. Doesn't Steve look like Mister Cool in that third shot? Reminds me of a teenager cruisin' the Sonic in his buddy's '57 Bel Air. 8) I do love that shine!

And for those of you who didn't already know, NL1042B is the former TallMantz camera ship from which countless aerial shots were taken for dozens of films and TV shows over several decades.

Cheers!
