For those of you in and around the Tulsa area, who might be interested in such things...

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum's annual Aviator Ball fundraiser will be this Saturday night at the Hangar One Museum. As part of the festivities, some of the area warbirds will be doing fly-bys of the museum, both formation and single ship passes, and will land and taxi onto the museum's ramp. While the ramp area is for the party's patrons only, the area around the museum would make for a great viewing site for those who want to take pictures or just want a fun show.

Expected to participate are: 4 T-6s, 1 P-51, 1 B-25, 1 T-28 and 1 L-39C. Should be good and loud!

For those who aren't familiar, the museum is located at the north end of the west runway at Tulsa International Airport (TUL), just across from the entrance to the Tulsa Zoo. There is a large empty field (about 15 acres) immediately south of the museum adjacent to the airport boundary fence that would make a great viewing location. The warbirds will be flying right by the museum, so photo fans should get some good shots.

Just wanted to share the info for those who might care.
Of course, if you would like to come join the fundraiser (and throw $125 into the coffers) we'd be happy to have you as well! Rides in T-6s, P-51s, YL-37s, L-39s, B-25s, T-28s etc will all be up for auction.

You think Jeff should just pop out here to fly it? :) He's the only one on the insurance.
