With all the talk of Bearcats going on I had a question about the Blue Angels Bearcat that is for sale on Courtesy.

Why has that one been on the market for so long? It seems like it has been listed on the Courtesy site for a while. Is there a reason that no one has gone after this one?

A $1.8MM price tag may have a significant impact on the lenth of the offering?

I know the airplane, and the effort that went into its restoration, and the man that owns it. He is not in a position where it has to be sold.

Thanks for the reply. Is the plane being flown at all?

It got to fly out of the way of the storm that battered the LSFM last year.

It is kept ready for flight in case it needs to be moved out in a hurry but as far as I am aware it is not on any type of regular flight rotation at the musuem since it is privatly owned and the insurance red tape is quite extensive.
