Yesterday I was flying with my boss (nice guy) and one of the sites we flew was near Lackland. My camera's currently broken, but he was kind enough to let me share this with ya'll.

It was also fun sharing the sky with some F-16s.

Oooooo, nice pic. They let you fly that low over Lackland?!? They didn't try to shoot you down?

I see you all still need rain too. Looks pretty dry.

Look! A Hustler, a Hustler, a Hustler...it's only a model...Shush!

Unless there are two B-58s there that is on the Kelly side of the field.

Except Kelly doesn't technically exist anymore... We weren't too low - maybe 1,100' AGL.

Doesn't Lone Star have the one that was in Ft. Worth? How'd it fare surviving the hurricane last year? We sure miss it and the B-36 at Pima here in thier birthplace! I haven't seen any pictures of the Lone Star B-58 in a while.

Lone Star's was a bit beat up. It stayed in the hangar but things hit it and it hit things...not too bad. There were some shots at the LSFM website during cleanup.

Here's the one from the Air Force Museum. I'll check when I get home to see if I have a good current photo of it inside the museum.
