you can buy an L-29 in good shape for less money....its a niche type plane...so they need find a butt that wants to sit in that seat.

I've got a friend that built an S-51...... I can say this, there is a LOT of work left on this thing. If you really want one, I'd suggest considering one that is already flying.......

It is bad enough they let "THOSE" airplanes advertise in the WARBIRD section of BARNSTORMERS. But now they have invaded real warbird conversation?

well,maybe somebody someday will produce full scale replicas with an affordable powerplant for guys like you and me,until then the 70% jobs will have to do...

For me, flying is the thing.

Whether it is the real thing, or a 7/10 scale, if it flies, it is ok with me.

So, what do you own and what do you fly? Pictures would be nice. : )

I would rather have a fake 7/10th's Mustang, than a real L-29 or real Nanchung anyday!!
