This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Saturday was the 12th annual Mustangs and Mustangs at Fantasy of Flight.
Only the 2 museum's Mustangs on hand this year.
However a very good flying line-up.
The C model Mustang, the Ford Tri-motor, Wildcat, and TP-40 all took to the air.
B-25 Panchito in the area made a couple passes along with the just restored third SNJ from Warbird Adventures.
Oh, there was a car show also with over 600 Ford Mustangs.

Fantastic! Great to see the old Tin Goose in the air. Is she flown regularly? I knew FOF had a Ford Tri-Motor in the collection, but didn't realize it was currently flying.

She was the tri-motor used in the Indiana Jones movie, not CG. It is good to see her flying though....I missed it! I have yet to catch his P-40 airborne as well, just never know what he will be flying. Such tough decisions!!!

Steve R., couple shots of the Wildcat below.
When the fog burned off in the morning we saw a little sun as you can see in the first shot.
Wish that blue sky had stayed around for the afternoon when flying began.
Guess, for my friends to the north I shouldn't be complaining, after all it was 85 degrees.
Steve N.
I have been lucky and seen Mr. Weeks fly the Ford Tri-Motor twice now.
The first time was last fall at his annual event called Roar-n Soar.

Hey Bill,
Thanks for the shots of the FM-2. Was lucky enough to shoot Howard Pardue, Cavanaugh's (Randy Wilson pilot) and Weeks in a three ship
formation mid-90's. It was a blast!
