Warbird Information Exchange

Was rewatching a few youtube videos of the last flight of a C-133 that landed at Travis AFB last fall. I was born in 1986 so I missed out on all the cold war birds. But man I always loved the C-133. A very forgotten type. I even asked my uncle who served on PBJ's back in 43-44 and he himself didnt know what a C-133 was and he is a plane nut like me. Watching these videos makes me feel pretty sad. But this one video while not that best just send chills up my spine as she lands for the last time. A very distinct sound a little bit like a B-36. I really dislike these "last flight" tributes as I know I will never get a chance to see one fly again. Rather depressing.

Anyone have any other thoughts they would like to share? Ragarding the C-133? Thanks.

I filmed 61999 for the week prior to its departure from Alaska, its stop in Washington, and its landing at Travis. We shot all of this in HD and have some really high quality stuff. We are working slowly but surely to produce something about this last flight and the history of the plane both in the air force and 61999 in Alaska.

Even though it was the last time a C-133 flew, it was well documented and the footage is going to be a great tribute to this "unsung giant."
