The Huey was part of the tour while they were in Texas.

We left them after Tyler, the bombers will just have to muddle along without the Huey now. I hope they make it !

I have many more. If anyone is interested, I can share. These were taken in April 2005.

Pretty amazing jump in technology isn't it ?

10 years before the Me-262 most of the aircraft flying were biplanes.

65 years later this aircraft still hasn't completely dated.

It must have been a shock to friend and foe alike to see an aircraft like this for the first time.

Thanks for posting these Nick. 8) I've been fascinated by this project for years, and these are the most detailed pictures I have seen.

I just hope I get to see one of these birds at a show one day.

Does anyone know if there be any more flyers? (besides the one in Germany, and the Collings bird)

What is the purpose of the vertical tapes along the fuselage?

Yes! #3 is nearly complete, if you have a pile of cash sitting around it can be yours! I've offered pay roll deductions for the next ten generations but I cant get them to budge
