Updates on Current restorations?

Sat Apr 11, 2009 11:39 am

Anybody have some info and/or pictures would be great for the following restorations?

1. National Capital Squadrons TBM CAF

2. Florida Wings TBM CAF

3. 2 PBY's by the Minnesota wing

4 Dixie wings P-63 (looking forward to this one)

5. Tim Savages PV-2

6. PT-22 of the Minesota wing

Thank you

The control surfaces for the Florida TBM are being covered by a friend of mine...for what that is worth. I think the ailerons and horizontals are completed.

The Florida CAF site has a newsletter on their site with the latest on the restoration.

The 2 PBYs have been assigned to the Lake Superior Squadron are under long term restoration at the Duluth airport. The Red one should be the first to return to the air.

The PT-22 should be back in the air this summer. I'll try and grab some pictures on my next trip to the Hanger.
