To take a picture of a take-off where the prop blades appear stationary is pretty impressive! :)

Thank you for sharing the photos, Paul! My brother-in-law is a long-time member of the Flying Vikings, and has painted a number of the nose-artworks that you might happen to see on some of the C-130's. The photos are excellent! I've been seeing them over my house quite frequently within the last week.

I'm transfering to the MD ANG (they have Hercs and A-10s() from the USAR. Can't wait. Untill my A-10 pilot app gets approved after my submission and interview, I'll try to get involved with the Hercs. Made my day!

Actually, I had my camera settings all wrong in those shots, they just happened to turn out!

But, after a few frames, I switched over to highspeed ISO ( 1600 ) which helps stop most of those motions.
