So you think its fine to be deprived of information because it comes from a link? What makes you think that?
Well if that your case.. you ruin alot of peoples sources of information the world over. Hope your happy.
Shame my american mates this week sent me 10 links.. i shouldnt of clicked them ehhh???
I don't know what others think, but I for one won't feel deprived of information. Occasionally there are some really good links posted here, and no one's complaining about the practice in general. What's annoying is when someone puts up a sensational line (like this one) only to find it essentially worthless and (more importantly) misleading. I mean, we have our own Skyraider pilot(s) on the forum and plenty of good pictures, and I'm sure we'll see more later this year from airshow season.
Now, if you'd taken the link to the picture and directly linked (rather than linking to another forum) and given us some topic of meaningful discussion about it, or a good question, then maybe we'd feel like we had been given significant information... and wouldn't feel deprived of substance.
Oh, and everyone else, I suggest you don't be like me (or Jack) and answer posts like this - adding to the thread count and making it look like it might be an interesting thread that might be worth opening. If it's not worth your time of day, just don't respond.
