Thanks for all the P-47 restoration updates everyone. Who owns the ones being restored at West Pac?

Hi Rich. I know that Neal Melton has a partial P-47 sitting on his Museum floor, and is the cockpit section. He is at this time finishing up a Douglas Skyraider that is being restored in Colorado. I don't believe he has any plans for the cockpit section of the P-47, but like you said, he is the ultimate Warbird God, and shares that title with John. Both very nice people. If you or any of the readers have never seen he and John in flight, they are missing something awesome. Only a few feet separate these guys in the air, and they perform in one fluid motion. Practice, practice, pratice!!

They couldn't say, but I did sell them a couple of P-47B/C fuel gauges, if that's anything to go by for the type. My guess is Paul Allen for at least one of them, but who knows for the others.

Cheers,
Richard

Could be for a Razorback Jug that's being done for a fella who is already pretty familiar with the P-47, but I wouldn't know that for sure.
