this looks like it will be quite a turnout. Don't forget to bring your warbird digest and classic wings magazines!

Sorry Scott, the best I can do is the latest issue of Military Vehicles Magazine. Though there is a nice picture of a P-38 suspended between two GMC DUKW's for a trip into shore in this issue.

Rob.

Jeff wrote back to me that he has some stuff that he has to get done this weekend in order to be able to join us. The weatherman is calling for nastyness all this weekend so I suspect he will be unable to join us next saturday.

But he's gonna try. :D

No worries Alfred, I will be bringing as many of my issues as I can find, so hopefully we will be able to fill in any gaps.

:)

I hope it did not take anything else with it, like a house or anything.

That stinks, I really hate looking for new cars. Not fun, But only the first car I bought was not at the "Wrong" time. :?

The friggin weatherologist (meteorologist study meteors don't they?) have enough trouble predicting 20 minutes in the future much less next week. :)

Yeah, and we may catch a break yet. However it's better to be prepared. Looks like rain will stretch from Maine to Texas for the weekend. Thats another week I'll be delayed getting the jeep back on the road. I took the head off the engine a week and a half ago and the weather has been killing me ever since.

Weather Channel five day forcast. No, I have not. He will be there or not. Saturday was a washout, so I don't figure he got done what he needed too and sunday he took his duece and a half to a parade in St. Albans. I would not bet he will have time to come down.

As I feared, N3NJeff is going to get the "new" M52A2 tractor that he just bought so he will be unable to attend saturday.

The Local Forcast is now calling for showers turning steady as the day progresses on Saturday. I ALWAYS LIKE A 6hr RIDE IN THE RAIN!  :butthead: , BUT then again, It is airplanes! Ask Rob about the Portland Jetport open house last Fall..............................................

So is the meet time 11:00 am?

Just inside the front door?

On a side note, has anyone checked out the Air Guard Base down the road? I hear they have an A-10A, F-100D and F-102A some, if not all, are visible from the front gate area. I’d like to get some pictures, verses shots.

Sorry guys that I am going to miss the NEAM meet. Weather has not been that great and push goes to shove here. Going to screw waiting for good weather and get the truck in the rain. Al knows what its like to drive a MV with dry rotted window seals..........Much like flying a DC-3 in the rain......lol So I gotta get it this weekend cause the old man is hounding me to get the annual done on the N. Open cockpit flying weather up here is few and far between so i gotta have it ready for when its here...........think we flew her 3 hrs last yr cause of weather and mag problems.

so hope you guys have a good time.
