While I was at the CH2A today getting some more pictures on the Lancaster restoration I figured I might as well get some of the other aircraft they have.

This F1 Rocket is also being stored in the hanger. It's nice looking plane.

Nice photos... that first shot isn't a Tigermoth though... think it's a Fleet Finch. MUCH rarer!

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks, I thought it was a Tiger Moth but I think your right about it being a Fleet Finch. I heard back at the August airshow what it was but couldn't remember.

Not a Fleet Finch but a Fleet Fawn with a 125 hp Kinner B5
CF-CEQ is owned by Paul Corbet.
CEQ was owned by the London Flying Club back in the 30's.
It was originally restored and owned for years by Piet Boothorn
Incidentally . it was the first Fleet Biplane I ever had a ride in.

Thanks Fleet16b for the info. The plane isn't owned by the CH2A but they have worked out a deal with the owner (Paul Corbet) to operate it.

Looks they got quite the collection going there. I'll have to make a visit there sometime this summer.

Nice little squadron they've got there. 8)

I still am amazed at how many friends we have up North. Heres to more allies and more aircraft back in the air!

Now if only Mr. Russell would maybe obtain a Bolingbrook/Blenhiem project, or even a Ju-88!

Yeah feel free to stop by, the best time would be Saturday's between 10 and 2. That's when they usually give tours and are working on the Lanc and Mosquito projects.

I believe the Canadian Warplane Heritage museum is resotring a Bolingbrook right now to flight condition. A Ju-88 would be awsome too!
