Mustang Sweet Revenge landed about an hour ago after a nice flyby (later denied by the pilot).
Forgot my camera I was so excited. I didn't get the owner/pilot's name either. I asked him if he was a wixer and he said no.
Markings are red rudder and spinner, polished body except for checkers in front of the cockpit. QP on the side. I think I remember the number is 422051. Sorry for the vagueness (a privilege of age).
Anyway it was exciting.

Very cool - Mustangs are coming back to AZ it looks like. Bob Odegard came in to Falcon Field this afternoon, in formation with a UC-78! I know the ol' bamboo bomber has a pretty slow speed, so Bob surely had his hands full slowing the 'stang up! It looked very cool though - really well done!

Bob was flying Cripes A Mighty which had been owned by Bill Weeman at Stellar for the past year or so but was recently purchased by a new owner whose name I can never remember. It is currently based at the CAF at Falcon. Hey Ryan, were you with Barbie at the wind fest at Luke last weekend?

They arrived at the Cactus Fly In at Casa Grande on March 7th in formation as well.

Thanks Chris! I wasn't with the gang at Luke as I was sicker'n'a'dog at home. From what I heard, I would have spent most of the show in traffic or in a line to get in...

I parked out in the nice residential area off Bethany Home Rd and walked in the South Gate with my "I'm somebody" card. No waiting. The Air Force guys sure took good care of us though. Hey Ryan, Boone and I are going to Chino this year. You in?
